Gavi was expecting a victory for Barcelona in the El Clasico tie at the Estadi Olímpico Lluís Companys.

Ilkay Gundogan’s early goal put Barcelona in good light to win the tie, as Barca were in good control of the game.

At the end, Jude Bellingham inspired Real Madrid to a win, as he scored two second-half goals including a stoppage time winner to seal the win for his team.

“In the end, it makes no sense to do well if you don’t win. What we want is to win, and we weren’t able to do it,” Gavi told the media after the 2-1 loss to Real Madrid.

“I have very bad feelings, because we deserved to win the game but got punished twice for our mistakes. La Liga is long, we have to continue.”
