According to reports, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will not travel to Barcelona for this weekend’s El Clasico.

Perez and Barcelona president Joan Laporta have been at loggerheads since news of Barcelona’s involvement in the infamous Negreira case.

However, that isn’t the reason Perez won’t be away at Barcelona.

Florentino Perez is unhappy with what Barca’s spokesman said about Vinicius Junior recently.

“It’s not racism, he [Vinicius] deserves a slap for being a clown and a provocator. What do these useless dribbles represent in the middle of the field… “ Mikel Camps tweeted.

Perez has been disgusted by the statement, as the club has been battling hard over the racist abuse targeted at Vinicius Jr.
