Barcelona dug deep to beat Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, and thus seal a third consecutive victory in the Champions League group.

The first-half was a very comfortable encounter, with goals from Ferran Torres and Fermin Lopez putting Barcelona ahead. Interestingly, both players assisted each other for their goal.

Shakhtar came out stronger in the second period, and got a goal two minutes after the hour mark.

The goal gave the away side momentum, and they kept pressing for more.

Barcelona however showed class and maturity to later kill off their tempo, and hold on to their 2-1 victory, to sit top of Group H, with perfect 9 points.
