Barcelona are now just a point behind Real Madrid, as Barca got a win over Athletic Bilbao, while Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw with Sevilla over the weekend.

After the Champions League clash in midweek, both sides will face each other in the El Clasico.

Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the La Liga on Saturday, October 28, and Xavi has ruled out important duo Jules Kounde and Sergi Roberto from the clash.

“Only Kounde and Roberto are almost certainly out of El Clasico,” Xavi told the media after the 1-0 win against Athletic Club.

“The rest… we’ll see. Depends on their feelings. We are calm. We’re not going to rush anyone.”

Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski are also a doubt for the El Clasico. However, there’s a belief that Lewandowski may be available for this tie.
