Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez has insisted that his priority is to remain at Barcelona.

The 20-year-old has been receiving massive praise from all corner, including the manager, but he has said he’s determined to shut the hype buzzing around him, and focus on getting into the first team.

He told Sport:” Well, it’s not easy because, in the end, there are many external factors that can influence you to not have that discipline or those feet on the ground, as they say.

“But I think that my father, my family, have never been like that and I don’t think that will ever, ever happen to me, otherwise my father will be there to give me a hard time.

“I’d like to be in the first team, to continue here. The more years the better. I hope I can always be here, but well, you never know. It’s the best club in the world and every year the best come here. You never know.”
