Barcelona defender Jules Kounde had to be subbed off in the first half against Granada.

There was a collision between Kounde and Gavi, with Gavi barging onto Kounde’s knee.

The Frenchman seemed in genuine pain, and had to be subbed off.

However, Xavi allayed fears while speaking after the game, as he said Kounde will be okay.

“Kounde’s injury doesn’t look serious. He’s fine, but we’ll know more after tests on the player,” Xavi said.

Kounde may now miss the upcoming international games.
