Barcelona were away to Porto at the Estadio do Dragao, for our second Champions League group stage game of the season.

It wasn’t an easy night, but Barca did their job, and one quick break from Ferran Torres was enough to secure all three points with a slender 1-0 win.

Speaking after the game, Xavi said (as quoted by Mundo Deportivo): “The first half was quite good, but in the second half we suffered… We didn’t play the best game.

“It was not our best match, but it was a vital match for us. We won, but we have to play better… We will do it, we will do it.

“This is the Champions League. And it costs a lot. We won against a historic rival, away from home. We have to emphasize that.”
