Xavi sung the praise of youngster Fermin Lopez, after his fine display against Sevilla on Friday night.

The 20-year-old wasn’t in the starting line-up, but came on to replace injured Raphinha in the first-half.

Fermin Lopez was everywhere, and his skills and movement caused problems for Sevilla defence.

The youngster was involved in Barcelona’s winning goal, and has now earned the praise of manager, Xavi Hernandez.

“Fermin has played very well, he’s a top player,” Xavi told the media after Barcelona’s 1-0 win against Sevilla.

“I hope he will be at the club for a very long time.”

It’s great to see young players like Fermin Lopez, Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Gavi come through the ranks at the club.
