Gavi may only be 19, but the youngster has the heart of a lion.

The La Masia product was at it again against Sevilla, as Barca fought hard to win the tie 1-0.

Part of a 3-man midfield, Gavi pressed the hardest, and was both involved in the attacking and defensive part of the game.

Even when the players were getting tired late in the game, Gavi was still running over the pitch, in typical fashion.

Xavi praised the young midfielder after the Sevilla game, and blasted the media for underrating him.

“Gavi is vital for me. You [the press] said he didn’t fit anymore, he wasn’t going to play this season, he’s not gonna be important,” Xavi said after the game against Sevilla.

“Everything that you [the press] have come up with. The truth is that he’s irreplaceable.”
