Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez was pleased with his side’s display against RCD Mallorca.

While Xavi believes that his team did well against Mallorca, he was however unhappy with the defensive errors.

Mallorca scored their two goals from defensive errors – something Xavi wasn’t happy about.

Xavi said after the game: “The problem is that Mallorca got ahead of us due to a mistake on our part, and when we were better and when we should have turned the match around before the end of the half, another mistake came, and the match became very complicated.

“I think we outplayed Mallorca, but we must improve our performance.

“Last year, defence gave us stability. Today there were unacceptable mistakes from us.”

Barcelona have shipped in 8 goals in 7 La Liga games this season, and 4 in the last two games. This should be a cause for concern for Xavi.
