Barcelona signed Ilkay Gundogan during the summer, and the 33-year-old has proven to be a very good signing.

The German has done great in the La Liga, and has received the praise of manager, Xavi Hernandez.

Gundogan believes he has what it takes to be a great manager having played under the likes of Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel and now Xavi.

In an interview with El Pais, Gundogan also revealed that he was lucky to have been coached by Pep Guardiola.

He said: “I don’t want to sound arrogant, but I think I have the potential to become a great coach.

“I was also lucky to work with the best coaches. I worked with [Pep] Guardiola, [Jurgen] Klopp, [Thomas] Tuchel and now I have Xavi [Hernandez]. These types of personalities affect you in one way or another.”
