In a recent interview with GOAL, Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister was asked to rank a series of top footballers, including Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, among many others.

The Liverpool summer signing was then asked to rank Andres Iniesta, Luka Modric and Kevin De Bruyne.

Mac Allister chose Barca legend Iniesta as the best between the three – wise decision.

Iniesta is indeed regarded as one of the greatest-ever midfielders, and was a key part of a Barça team that many believe is the greatest team of all time.

Surprisingly, Mac Allister ended up picking Modric as his last option, just behind De Bruyne.

Real Madrid fans will definitely come for his head.
