Celta Vigo star Carles Perez is looking forward to facing his former side Barcelona.
The 25-year-old right winger was a Barcelona academy product, and was at the club from 2012 before he left to Roma in 2020, and now Celta Vigo.
Perez was once touted as a long-term solution to Barcelona’s problems down the wing, but eventually didn’t make the cut.
He however appreciates his time at Barcelona.
He told Sport when asked if he felt hard done by Barça: “I’m very well, it’s true that you’ve had a dream since you were little and you see that it gets frustrating from one day to the next.
“I only have good words towards Barça, I have to thank them, I learned a lot the years I was there, from the players, staff, from all over the world.”
Perez however made it clear that he will celebrate in front of the Barcelona faithful if he scored in the upcoming clash on Saturday.
He said: “It’s not a bad thing, I left for years. Now I’m in Celta and if I score, obviously I’m not going to provoke anyone, but I will celebrate it. I don’t think it’s disrespectful.”
