Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has named his favourites to win the Champions League this season.

Interestingly, the former Tottenham Hotspur striker named only three clubs – Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

Kane failed to acknowledge Barcelona who are having a fine season so far.

Asked if he sees a standout favourite to win the Champions League this season, Kane told Marca: “I’m not so sure, although, of course, you always have to mention Manchester City as the current champion.

“Then there is Real Madrid with their fantastic history and I think Bayern are also among the favorites.

“Of course, the Champions League is a very difficult competition with extraordinary duels against magnificent teams and you never know what can happen. Our goal is to control what we can control and give our best version.”

It’s good that nobody is taking note of Barcelona; but Barca will surprise teams this season.
