It was a masterclass performance from Barcelona, as Barca defeated Antwerp 5-0 in our opening Champions League game.

Barcelona boss Xavi, has been very impressed with two of his summer signings – Ilkay Gundogan and Joao Cancelo.

Gundogan and Cancelo have added something extra to the Barcelona team that has made us unstoppable. 5-0 wins in back to back games isn’t a fluke.

Xavi has hailed their understanding of the game, and believes it’s down to Pep Guardiola’s influence.

“Gundogan and Cancelo come from a special coach. We already know how well he plays football. It is Guardiola,” Xavi told the media after Barcelona beat Antwerp 5-0 in the Champions League.

“It’s a pleasure to see them play. You don’t need to give Gundogan a lot of instructions… he knows how to play easily and without complexity. Same for Cancelo. They are both great additions.”
