It was yet another stunning performance from Barcelona, as the Blaugrana defeated Antwerp 5-0.

Barca were favourites for this group stage opening clash, and the Blaugrana didn’t take their favourite status for granted.

It took just 11 minutes for Barcelona to take the lead courtesy of Joao Felix, after some attractive team display.

Felix turned provider eight minutes later, as he set up Robert Lewandowski for a tap-in, after a fine pass through from Frenkie de Jong.

Four minutes after Lewandowski’s goal, Jelle Bataille deflected a Raphinha cross into his own net, as Barca cruised to a 3-0 lead in the first half.

Barcelona started the second-half with top speed, as it took just 9 minutes for Gavi to make it 4-0, following an assist from Lewandowski.

Shortly after the hour mark, Joao Felix headed a fine Raphinha cross into the net to make it 5-0.

Xavi decided he had seen enough of the scintillating Felix, as he took him off for youngster Lamine Yamal immediately after his goal. Ferran Torres also came in for Raphinha, while Sergi Roberto will later replace Joao Cancelo.
