Ferran Torres has been in fine form this season, and was rewarded with a start against Real Betis.

The Spain international scored Barcelona’s third goal of the game, and it was a superbly taken free-kick.

The goal was Barca’s first goal from a direct set-piece since May 2021.

Speaking about his goal, Torres said: “To be honest, I tried to curl the ball over the wall at the free kick, but it came out differently.

“When things go well for you, even the ball goes in unintentionally.”
