Barcelona defender Jules Kounde, was one of the stars of the Barca team last season, as the Blaugrana went on to win the La Liga.

Kounde was deployed as a right-back for much of last season, and he thoroughly impressed in that role, even though he never really liked it.

Now playing in his usual centre-back role, Kounde seems a happy man, and has told Xavi that he wants to continue there.

“I hope my position [centre-back] continues to be the same as it is now,” Jules Kounde has told Esport3.

“But the most important thing is always the team. I’m always open to the coach’s requests.”
