Barcelona’s financial situation has seen the club revolve around uncertain moments.
Club president Joan Laporta has worked very hard to ensure Barcelona is still standing strong.
Joan Laporta’s advisor Enric Masip has revealed a scary situation that was again saved by Laporta.
According to Masip, Barca youngsters Lamine Yamal and Alejandro Balde were very close to leaving the club during the summer transfer window.
He told OnzeTV3: “Lamine Yamal and Balde were in serious danger of leaving Barça. There is a club that wanted to sign Balde and Lamine. I will not mention their name.
“The president’s relationship with Jorge Mendes is the reason why Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal are staying at Barça.”
Yamal and Balde are now set to sign new long-term contracts, which will secure their future at the club.
