Revealed: How 19-year-old super talent snubbed Chelsea to sign for Barcelona even after Chelsea offered more money

Spanish Champions, Barcelona hijacked an attempted move by the Blues to sign 19-year-old Mikayil Faye.

The former NK Kustosija player, was bought by Barcelona on a €1.5m deal in July.

According to a report on Sport, it was highlighted how Chelsea missed out on that signing.

It’s claimed that the Blues were ahead of Barcelona for the signing, especially because of more money offered.

According to reports, Chelsea and Genk both had bigger offers. The Blues had an intention to loan the player to France, while the Belgian club were ready to have him in the first team.

Sport also report that the West London side even had the ‘documentation’ ready but the player decided to move to Barcelona instead.

Faye has a nickname ‘the monster’, and he’s definitely one for the future.
