Joao Cancelo sealed a summer move to Barcelona, as he joined the club from Manchester City, on a season-long loan deal.

Joao Cancelo can play as a right-back or wing-back, who can also cut inside to join the midfield and actively support attacks.

The Portuguese has revealed just how he’d play for Barcelona.

“The coach [Xavi] gives me a bit of freedom, and that’s what I like,” Joao Cancelo has told Diario Sport.

“I feel comfortable playing inside, but also outside. I will adapt to what Xavi demands from me.”
