Marco Verratti has joined the latest trend, and has moved to Saudi Arabia, as he joined Saudi Pro League side Al Arabi.

According to L’Equipe, Barcelona were among several European teams that made offers to sign Verratti.

However, Barca’s offer was rejected, as PSG were only interested in a permanent transfer offer.

Barcelona tabled a loan deal, which is why they rejected Barca’s approach.

Verratti spent 11 years at PSG, making 416 appearances for the Parisians. He’d have indeed been a very good addition for the Blaugrana.
