Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente was delighted after Spain’s 7-1 mauling of Georgia.
Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal made his debut in that game, and the 16-year-old dazzled for the La Roja.
Yamal is seen as the next big thing in football, and has been breaking all manner of records since his breaking into the Barca first team late last season.
The Spain boss believes Spain have a great future because of the Barcelona youngster.
De la Fuente said of Spain’s win: “The triumph is the result of an ambitious and very determined group. The boys are insatiable. I saw commitment and improvement, we played the whole match. Georgia has a great generation, we won on a complicated pitch.”
On Yamal, who scored on his debut, he added: “He integrated into this group, into this family, he was phenomenal.
“The future of Spanish football is guaranteed, generations appear that will bring many joys, we celebrate that the young people and the veterans form a group, a great team and with this mentality we achieve our objectives.”
