The Ballon d’Or shortlist was finally unveiled on Wednesday, and it’s filled with some of the world’s finest players.

Two Barcelona players made the shortlist this year – Robert Lewandowski and summer signing Ilkay Gundogan.

Barcelona legend Lionel Messi also made the cut, and he’s one of the favourites to win the award, following an amazing World Cup performance.

The 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place on 30th October at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.
