Barcelona were able to secure the signing of Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix before the close of the summer transfer window.

The duo are apparently namesake, and are from same country, Portugal.

Xavi has revealed that he was pleased with the duo, who both made their Barcelona debut in the game against Osasuna.

“I really liked the attitude of the two Joaos [Cancelo and Felix]. Both have helped and contributed,” Xavi told the media after Barca beat Osasuna 2-1 in La Liga.

“Felix can give us a lot, but I’d like to highlight the attitude with which he has entered the pitch.

“Cancelo? With him, we can have more superiority on the inside. We seek to have many players in the middle park to dominate the match.”
