Gavi may just be 19, but the young lad has the heart of a lion.

The Spaniard received a nasty blow to the right ear following a collision with an opponent, shortly after half-time against Osasuna.

Barca doctors had to rush onto the pitch to treat the young midfielder.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Gavi received five stitches on that ear, as he bled on the pitch.

Gavi had the chance to be subbed off, but rather chose to remain on the pitch and fight for his team.

The youngster ended up playing the entire 90 minutes, and worked really hard for the team.

According to stats, Gavi won 7/13 ground duels, made 4 successful tackles and blocked one shot. He also had a 94% pass accuracy.
