Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde has sung the praises of Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.

Araujo has been a top player for Barcelona in recent years, and is probably the most reliable player at the back for Barcelona.

Valverde and Araujo are Uruguay teammates, and Valverde has said just how much of a top player Araujo is.

Valverde said to The Residency: “I’m fascinated by Ronald, I’ve always said it. I love him and he’s also Uruguayan and he’s a good friend of mine.”

When questioned about the worst Barça player, Valverde opted against speaking on that.

“I’m not going to say any bad player because they all deserve to be where they are and work for it. I respect them all,” he said.
