Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski doesn’t seem too pleased with Xavi’s new formation.

The Barca boss has opted to play with four midfielders this season, and Lewandowski has said he lacks support, which has diminished his scoring chances this term.

Lewandowski said: “We are Barcelona and we are supposed to not only win, but also to play attacking football.

“That hasn’t been the case lately, so we have been working to create more chances in games.

“Sometimes we don’t play with enough attacking players, I don’t get any support… so I look for the best solution for the team.

“When we see Ferran or Ansu on the pitch, two players who both think and attack, we see more chances.”
