The summer transfer window shuts on September 1, and the Barca squad still has some gaps to fill.

Xavi has revealed that Barcelona will sign a new fullback and also a forward player.

“We will try to sign a full-back and a forward,” Xavi has said.

Barcelona are expected to sign Joao Cancelo in the coming days, as a deal with Manchester City has already been agreed.

Barcelona also need a new forward to cover the gap left by Ousmane Dembele. Joao Felix have been linked with a loan move to Barcelona until the end of the season.
