Robert Lewandowski was the league’s top scorer last season, with 23 goals in 34 La Liga games.
However, the Poland international is yet to find the net this season.
Xavi has said the 34-year-old seems happy despite his barren run in two games.
“Lewandowski looks happy and content,” Xavi said in his press conference on Saturday.
“He wants to contribute through goals, but he’s also contributing through other things, like the assist against Cadiz. The goals will come.
“He needs to score like the rest of the forwards, but he seems happy, and I’m calm about him.”
