FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee have suspended the Spanish FA president, Luis Rubiales, from all football-related activities for 90 days.

This is coming after Rubiales kissed midfielder Jenni Hermoso during the gold medal presentation after Spain won the women’s World Cup.

The investigation is ongoing, and Rubiales has been suspended for the main time.

Xavi has reacted to the situation.

“I give my full support to Jenni Hermoso and all the Spanish players,” Xavi has told the media.

“I condemn the act of Luis Rubiales. It is totally unacceptable.”

More than 50 female players have already signed the letter calling for Rubiales to step aside and will refuse to play for Spain’s national team until the decision is made.
