Since signing for Barcelona, Ferran Torres has struggled to break into the first team.

The 23-year-old joined Barca for a big fee from Manchester City in January 2022, but has struggled to justify his price tag.

Torres was even listed as an expendable player this summer, after a lacklustre 2022-23 campaign.

The Spain international worked extra hard on his fitness condition during the holidays, and is now in the best shape of his career.

During the summer, Torres gained muscle mass, improved his fitness and worked on his ability to finish off chances while also sharpening his killer instincts.

Torres impressed in pre-season, and is also doing well this season as well.

He banged three goals in four pre-season games and scored in his first La Liga appearance against Cadiz.

Before the start of the season, Torres vowed to be at his very best this season, and it’s glad he’s keeping to his words.
