Barcelona have been linked with three players from Manchester City this summer.

The first is Ilkay Gundogan, who has since been signed. Another is Joao Cancelo who may most likely join before the close of the summer transfer window.

However, the third player Bernardo Silva, won’t be joining Barcelona anytime soon.

The Portuguese star had revealed his affection for Barcelona in the past, but a deal is now impossible, as he has signed a new contract with Manchester City.

The player has committed his future to Man City until 2026. This now puts an end to all the rumours regarding a potential Barcelona move.

Barcelona are now likely to give up on signing any attacking midfielders and focus on the players and youngsters at the club.
