Frenkie de Jong was named Man of the Match following the 2-0 win over Cadiz.

De Jong had a good game dominating the match from midfield, but it took two late goals from Pedri and Ferran Torres to seal the victory.

“We didn’t have many chances, but it’s good that we have players that can score goals,” De Jong said after the game.

Frenkie de Jong also admitted that the win is important for his side’s morale.

“This win is important for our confidence, we have to start winning matches. We played well, but it’s true that we have to create more danger,” the Dutchman said.

He then added: “We have a sense of purpose in the team. We have to keep creating chances, and the goals will arrive.”
