Barcelona left it late against Cadiz, as the Blaugrana won the tie 2-0.

Following a goalless draw with Getafe, Xavi’s men needed nothing less than a victory against visiting Cadiz, as Real Madrid have won their opening two games.

Despite Barcelona’s sustained pressure against Cadiz, it had to take two late goals from Pedri and Ferran Torres to seal the victory.

Speaking after the win, Xavi insisted his side should have won more than the 2-0 margin.

“I’m satisified. We have to improve and be more patient. The match was good and the win was deserved,” Xavi said after Barca beat Cadiz 2-0.

“I think this match should have ended 4-1 or 5-1.”
