Barcelona manager Xavi recently spoke highly of Ansu Fati, as the 20-year-old continues to be linked with a move away from Barcelona.
For Xavi, he has said Fati is the legacy of Barcelona, and will want him to continue at the club.
“I’m very happy with Ansu [Fati]. He’s the legacy of the club in the present and the future. From here, we will decide his future until August 31,” Xavi told the media.
Reports from Diario AS’ Manu Sainz, has claimed that Fati has decided to leave Barcelona.
Fati has reportedly ordered his representatives to find him a new club, and Premier League clubs are already interested in his signing, with Arsenal, West Ham and even Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal all interested in signing the forward.
Fati has struggled to break into the starting team under Xavi, even though he has so much potential.
The 20-year-old scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists for Barca last season.
Ansu Fati’s value is believed to be around €35m.
