Barcelona vice-president reacts as Portuguese star wants to join Barcelona

Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix, has made it clear that he’d want to play for Barcelona.

Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste says they’re happy Joao Felix wants to join them.

Barcelona had been linked with a move for Neymar, as a replacement for Ousmane Dembele who had departed Barcelona for PSG. Neymar would however sign for Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal.

Barcelona are now being linked with Joao Felix, and Barcelona vice-president is pleased that the Atletico star favours a move to Barcelona.

Yuste said: “That a player like Joao Felix says he wants to play for Barça is a source of pride.

“He shows that the club is in a strong position.”

Yuste also stated: “We are very happy with the team we have.

“There is room until August 31 to work.”

Atletico Madrid fans are upset with Felix, as he openly declared a wish to move to Barca this summer.
