Barcelona have officially announced that left-back prospect Alex Valle has left the club to join Levante UD on loan for the rest of the 2023/24 season.

Levante have snapped up Barcelona defender Alex Valle on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old left-back joined La Masia back in 2014, and has made steady progress through the youth ranks at the club ever since.

The teenager made 22 appearances for Barça Atletic and spent the second half of the last season on loan at Andorra FC, where he featured seven times.

He is yet to feature for Barcelona’s first team.

Barcelona announced his loan exit on Monday: “FC Barcelona and Levante UD have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Àlex Valle until June 30, 2024.”

Valle’s contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2025.
