Raphinha was given a red card in the La Liga clash against Getafe.

The Brazilian lost his cool in the game, and was sent off just before half-time.

Raphinha has now tendered his apology on social media, but has asked for the hate on him to stop.

“Well I would like to come on here and apologize to my teammates, Staff, fans and everyone that follows me here on Instagram,” Raphinha wrote.

“I was wrong and it could have cost the team more… Not the way I wanted to start the season. I am aware and responsible for what happened last night, with mistakes we learn to improve and certainly I will improve with my mistakes.

“A lot of you are hating on me now but that won’t stop me from going my best for this T-shirt, I’m Culer and I will continue to be one of you…

“I hope I can make up for my mistake in everything possible with and for this shield.”
