Xavi has spoken highly of Ansu Fati, as the 20-year-old continues to be linked with a move away from Barcelona.
For Xavi, he has said Fati is the legacy of Barcelona, and will want him to continue at the club.
Marcos Alonso has also been linked with an exit from Barcelona, but the Spaniard didn’t seem to get much backing from Xavi.
“I’m very happy with Ansu [Fati]. He’s the legacy of the club in the present and the future. From here, we will decide his future until August 31,” Xavi has told the media.
“We’ll see what happens to Alonso. They are in the same situation with Ansu. There is a market going on until the end of the month, and we’ll see what players will stay.”
