Neymar has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

The Brazilian superstar left Barcelona in 2017, and after six years, he’s being linked with a return back to the club.

Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto has confirmed that the rumours are indeed true, and that Neymar is keen on a return to the club where he last won the Champions League and La Liga.

Asked whether he’s excited about the Brazilian’s possible return, Sergi Roberto replied: “Of course, I am excited. He’s my ex-teammate and a friend after all. We’ve experienced many good things together. When he was in the team, they were some of the best years I’ve had here, at Barca. We won everything.

“And, well, he’s a very different player to all the others, I’m sure he would bring us a lot, but in the end I’m not the one who decides. So the decision-makers, whether he comes or not, will decide what is best for the club.

“What we want is to have the best possible team to compete for everything and to have the best players.

“I’ve talked to him [recently]. I can’t give the details, it’s private, but he wants to come back, that’s for sure.”
