Barcelona rounded up their pre-season series with a friendly game against Tottenham.

It ended in a victory for the Blaugrana, as Barcelona came from 2-1 down to win the tie 4-2.

Barcelona played Arsenal, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Tottenham – beating Real Madrid, AC Milan and Tottenham.

Xavi rated the wins against Real Madrid and Milan higher, as he also praised Tottenham for the intensity and the pace with which they played on Tuesday.

The 43-year-old told Barca’s official website: “We ended the game really well but I don’t think we played as well as we did against Real Madrid or AC Milan. We played against a good team, with plenty of pace and intensity and they had the better of us at times.”

Xavi was also calm about club’s summer plans.

Asked about the transfer market, Xavi answered: “From the Board and the Sporting Management, they are positive and that gives me calm.”
