Spanish journalist Marcal Lorente has urged Barcelona not to sign Neymar.

The Brazilian has been linked with a return to Barcelona, but Lorente has said that Neymar is more than a finished player.

The journalist has said Barca should give more room to Ansu Fati, who’s beginning to regain his form.

Speaking on El Chiringuito TV, Lorente stated: “Neymar is more than finished. It’s nonsense. You’re gonna kick out Ansu, who’s recovering his level, to bring Neymar who has become a failure.”

Neymar has been linked with a return to Barcelona, but doesn’t seem to be in Xavi’s plans.

Xavi has said about bringing Neymar back: “Ah… Surprise… That’s a surprise. Look, I appreciate Neymar as a person, as a player, as a friend, he’s a great player, but he’s not in our plans, no.”
