Barcelona coach Xavi was very delighted with Lamine Yamal’s performance in the 4-2 victory over Tottenham.

Lamine Yamal impressed despite coming on as a substitute against Tottenham, and he assisted Ferran Torres just a minute after coming on.

“Lamine is a talent that we have to ‘dose’,” Xavi said of the youngster.

“It’s wonderful to see him play with this kind of cheek, but Ansu and Ferran were also very good.

“Those who came on in the second half were very good.

“The feeling was good. We have to adapt, but we have been at ease. We have to encourage people to come, because we need them. Last year we won titles thanks to the fans.”

Lamine Yamal will be with the first team this season, Xavi has confirmed.
