Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed what Barcelona must do to sign Man City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

According to Guardiola, Barcelona must first make a bid for Silva, and it must be a suitable offer.

Guardiola said: “I want to clarify because I know the representatives of Barcelona. Since my first day I don’t want players who don’t want to be here. I want to work with guys who want to stay and work with us.

“If someone wants him, they will fly and come here to talk to the our sporting director. In any case, we have not received a suitable offer.”

Guardiola further added: “For us, buying a player is always £10-15m more expensive than other clubs, just because we are Manchester City. If someone wants one of our important players, they must first of all make an offer, but that didn’t happen.”

Bernardo Silva is open to a move to Barcelona, but it’s yet to be seen if Barca can offer a suitable bid for the Portuguese star.
