Ousmane Dembele’s move to PSG is already confirmed, with the deal set to be announced before the end of the week.
Barcelona are now preparing for life without Dembele, who was supposed to be a key player this season.
Spanish journalist Javi Miguel, has claimed that one of the first priorities for Barcelona now is to reinforce the attack as soon as possible to compensate for the loss of Dembele.
Barcelona have since snapped up Brazilian talent Vitor Roque.
Barca’s initial plan was for the 18-year-old attacking talent to remain with Brazilian side Athletico Paranaense until January of 2024 or the following summer.
However, following the unexpected departure of Dembele, Javi Miguel claims that Barcelona will proceed with the utmost urgency to bring Vitor Roque to Barcelona this very summer in order to reinforce the attack as urgently as possible.
Barcelona believe they can register Roque, following the departure of Dembele, as wage space will be vacated to accommodate the youngster.
Moreso, the report claims that should Athletico Paranaense be eliminated from the Copa Libertadores before the 31st of August, Barcelona will go all-out to bring Roque to Spain promptly.
