Fermin Lopez was the star of the show, as Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-0.

The 20-year-old youngster came on for Pedri after the hour mark, as he was introduced in the 66th minute. Interestingly, he had a major impact as a sub.

Fermin Lopez scored a goal and provided an assist for Ferran Torres to seal a 3-0 win for Barcelona.

Xavi has now revealed that the 20-year-old will not leave Barcelona on loan, but will rather have first team chances.

“Fermin Lopez will not leave [Barca] on loan. He will stay with the first team this season,” Xavi said after the game.

“We don’t have any exceptions for players. He trained very well. We think he can help us throughout the season.”

Fermin Lopez plays as an attacking midfielder or a left winger. He scored 12 goals and provided 4 assists on loan at Linares last season.
