Barcelona have confirmed that Alex Collado and Chadi Riad have left the club, with both players moving to Real Betis.

Barcelona moved to terminate the contract of Collado after he spent 13 years at the club.  The 24-year-old joined Barca Academy in 2010.

Chadi Riad has also moved to Real Betis, howbeit on a loan deal.

Barcelona also inserted a buy back option in the deal which could be triggered based on the number of matches the young defender plays.

Barcelona released a statement, thus: “Barcelona and Real Betis have reached an agreement for the transfer of Alex Collado. Barcelona retains a percentage of a future sale.”
