Former Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig has said he’s enjoying life in the United States.

According to the 23-year-old, there’s far less pressure in the MLS compared to what he suffered at Barcelona.

Puig went on to say that Barcelona youngster Pablo Torre is currently suffering the same fate at Barca.

“Here, in the USA, football is the 4th most important sport. People let me live in peace, not like in Barcelona,” Puig told Relevo.

“At Barca, when I didn’t play, people were looking for stuff from you… Like with Pablo Torre, it’s unfair.”

Barcelona have sent out 20-year-old Torre on loan to Girona for the upcoming season.
