Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste has reacted to rumours linking Barca with a move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
Yuste has played down the rumours and rather chose to focus on his own team.
“Mbappe to Barcelona? I’m not here to feed rumours,” Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste told Mundo Deportivo.
“Anything I say as vice president of sports would be making a bigger rumour. I want to tell everyone that we have a squad that with Gundogan, Romeu and Inigo is already better than last year. They are rumours.”
Yuste has also said that he doesn’t care if Real Madrid signs Mbappe this summer.
He added: “Real Madrid sign Mbappe? I worry about our team and what I see is that Xavi is giving it more and more packaging, in a process that I have already experienced in previous times. And with this I stay.
“The players who have arrived are very humble players who are going to help these great youngsters that we have to try to make the hegemony of winning the League again a reality.”
